On June 2nd, SM Entertainment, the production company of aespa, announced that NingNing had been hospitalized due to symptoms of dehydration and fatigue during a rehearsal. The medical team advised her to take a break and recover.
Unfortunately, NingNing was unable to join aespa’s performance at the “K-WAVE Concert Inkigayo” held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon. However, the remaining members, Karina, Winter, and Giselle, proceeded with the performance as planned.
Despite NingNing’s absence, aespa’s debut album “Armageddon,” released on May 27th, has been a great success. The album features a total of 10 tracks, including the pre-released song “Supernova” and the two main tracks “Armageddon.” These songs have garnered significant attention on both Korean and global music charts.
SM Entertainment is placing a high priority on NingNing’s health and has committed to providing the necessary support for her speedy recovery and return to the stage. In the meantime, fans have been expressing their heartfelt well-wishes and eager anticipation for NingNing’s swift comeback.
